About Peter
Peter Neilson is a Church of Scotland minister with 30 years' experience in Mount Florida, Glasgow, and in St Cuthbert's, Edinburgh, where he pioneered innovative ministry in the business community, nightclubs and among homeless people.
He led a National Team of Advisers in mission and evangelism and was Director of Training in St Ninian's Crieff, working with a wide range of churches across the denominations. He has supported various church planting initiatives, and convened the group responsible for the Church without Walls report.
Aware of the reconfiguring of the Church across the Western world, he is now committed to supporting those who are exploring new ways of being church for our times.
He is a tutor on the course on Mission in the Urban World at International Christian College, the Missional Leadership Course for Together in Mission and Invest, a course to equip pioneer church planters based in Whiteinch, Glasgow, while contributing to courses run by the Councils of the Church of Scotland.
With his wife, Dorothy, he enjoys leading retreats and supporting people through times of transition. See Who We Are
