Sacred space at Linne Bheag
...offering retreat space for groups and individuals
Linne Bheag is Gaelic for "small patch of water", and is situated only one minute's walk from the picturesque harbour in the lovely East Neuk fishing village of Anstruther in Fife. The house itself sits in a secluded garden, ideal for enjoying the sunshine, the sea air and private space for your own thinking and reflecting on your journey with God.
Peter and Dorothy live and work here, offering spiritual direction and one-to-one support to any who wish to take seriously the call of God in their lives.
They also - run courses in prayer, cutting-edge church and personal transformation
- lead retreat days where they teach and facilitate your own quiet time
- Peter works with leadership groups and
- Dorothy teaches enneagram, a personality profiling system.

Take time out
Take time away to:
- find space for yourself to rest, unwind and pray
- spend time with God, reflecting in an unhurried way on your life
- ponder the meaning of what as happened to you
- prepare for the future
Sacred Space will organise individual and group retreats according to your specifications and may include any of the following:
- a completely free space for you to think and pray
- time with a prayer guide
- some kind of creative activity
You may wish to book in for part of the planned programme. See events
Alternatively, you may want to book your group in for a day scheduled according to your own requirements. Contact Peter or Dorothy to talk it through with them. For some ideas of the kind of material they use see Quiet Days
A mix and match of teaching times, interactive exercises, periods of quiet, the chance to be creative, to pray alone, to explore new ways of prayer, to meditate. You choose.
How to make it happen
Use Linne Bheag as your venue, where the Sacred Space team will lead the programme; a light lunch will be provided.
If your group is too big to meet here (we can only comfortably take 10) you could organise your own venue, programme and food and invite the Sacred Space team to lead you through the day.
See the contact page for contact details, location and map.
